Annie Sloan Lacquer is a clear matte water based varnish for painted floors, particularly for those painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Whether the paint is applied as a wash or applied solidly with a roller, this robust lacquer will seal it perfectly. The lacquer coat will slightly darken the paint beneath it.

Although a matte varnish there is a slight sheen to give it strength. The liter will cover 90-150 square feet, depending on how porous the surface and how thickly the lacquer is applied. Two coats are recommended for areas of high traffic (preferable to applying one thick coat.)

Annie Sloan Soft Wax – Clear

Our wax is the consistency of soft margarine in a tub so it is easy to apply, is completely colorless and has very little odor. It is water repellent so can be used on dining room tables and kitchens. Wipe clean regularly and use a proprietary spray cleaner for tough areas.

We recommend applying the paint, waxing it and then sanding it for the best results. You can color the wax with a little of our paint to make a white wax.

Annie Sloan Soft Wax – Dark

To age and give texture to your paintwork apply the clear wax first then apply the dark wax. Wipe off the excess then use the clear wax to take more off if you need to, but leave the dark wax in the recesses. You can color the dark wax to make it less brown by using a little of our paint in the wax. Use Old White to make white wax or a bit of Aubusson to make the wax almost black. Apply with a brush or rag.
