Special Offer 2-Day Workshop: Chalk Paint Basics and More

Learn the Basics of painting the Annie Sloan way with Annie’s very own signature Chalk Paint. Unlike latex paints, this paint does not create a film that sits on the surface, rather it bonds with the substrate making sanding and priming unnecessary. And the bonus is that sanding back for antique, French, and shabby chic looks is oh-so-easy! You will LOVE this product at first brush stroke! Be amazed with how fantastic it is to paint directly on plastic, metal, and wood. Wallartistry provides all materials needed including sample pieces and two small projects that you will complete and take home at the end of the 2-day course.

On Day 1, you will learn four techniques to understand the basics of this unique paint product. Finishes taught that you will execute in class are: Single-color Aging, Two-color Rub-back, Simple Crackle, and Stipple.

On Day 2, enhance your projects with four additional fine finishing techniques. These techniques stem from popular finishes seen in shelter magazines and high-end furniture stores that are classic, timeless finishes that just happen to be the hottest trends in furniture right now! The names may not be familiar, but the look is something you all know AND want! Finishes taught that you will execute in class are: Two-color Crackle, Gilding, Dust of Ages, and Liming Wash/ Liming Wax.

January 26-27 Special Offer for January only $325! Sign up for the workshop with a friend and each of you receives a voucher for $25 to spend on products (tell me who your friend is in the notes area when you register).
